Lisette Stalbow

Lisette Stalbow was born in 1947 in Cairo, Egypt. Her uncle ran the famous Circurel Department Store and in her interview she remembers a visit by Charlton Heston, who was filming The Ten Commandements, to the family home. The family were forced to leave Egypt in 1956 and settled in Birmingham. She moved to London for her work as an analytical programmer. This was an audio interview.
