Albert Iskenazi was born in 1932 in Wad Medani, Sudan. He grew up with a multi-cultural group of friends and spoke Arabic at home. After selling his business, Albert worked for the American Embassy in Khartoum. He left Sudan in 1965 and worked in the Ivory Coast for several years, before moving to England in 1971.
