Ezra Nahmad was born in 1945 in Bhamdoun, Lebanon. The family left Lebanon in 1959 and settled in Italy. In his interview he spoke about the importance of religion as an identity marker in the Arab world and how this was no longer relevant in Italy. He joined his brother in the art world and runs a successful art dealership company.
