Lisette Stalbow
Lisette Stalbow was born in 1947 in Cairo, Egypt. Lisette was first interviewed by Sephardi Voices UK with audio, and ten years later with a video interview.
Lisette enjoyed a happy childhood in Egypt. Her family were expelled in 1956 and she spent her teenage years in Birmingham. Lisette moved to London as a young adult, and after a career in computing retrained as an art psychotherapist. Her art and therapy focus primarily on issues of identity and displacement.
