Viviane Aghain was born in 1959 in Beirut, Lebanon. She described her childhood in Lebanon, and the atmosphere in her home: the Jewish Holidays, her mother’s food, special family rituals, and the close relationship she had with her two grandmothers. In 1974 she left Lebanon with her father and joined her sisters, who were living in Naples, Italy. She moved to London with her husband in 1980.
