Ninette Levy was born in 1933 in Cairo, Egypt. Ninette remembers her life in Egypt fondly, describing school, joining the Scouts and volunteering. She and her family were forced to leave Egypt in 1956 and she describes her arrival in England as a great shock to the system. Despite this, she created a career for herself and had her children in the UK.
