Joseph Lavian
Joseph Lavian was born in 1923 Mashhad, Iran. In his interview, he spoke a lot about the history of crypto-Jews in Mashhad. Aged sixteen he moved to Tehran and went into business with a friend, trading Persian rugs and carpets with Europe. He moved to London in 1959.
