Vicki York

Victorine (Vicki) York was born in Cairo in 1947. In 1956, following the Suez Crisis, Vicki and her family were expelled from Egypt and arrived in England as refugees. In her interview, she spoke about the way her Egyptian upbringing impacted her faith and relationship to Judaism.
